A High Surf Advisory has been issued for the Monterey Bay Area in general, and the Santa Cruz Harbor in specific. Seas are forecast to range in size from 17 to 20 feet, with the highest swells expected to arrive late tonight (and stick around through tomorrow and Friday). Breaking surf in the harbor entrance is anticipated, as well as powerful surge conditions within the harbor.
