There has been High Surf for several days now, as well as warnings about Rip Tides and Sneaker Waves….and now the High Surf has damaged some pilings on Capitola Wharf, as well as some docks and 3 vessels in the Santa Cruz North Harbor. The waves have reportedly been 12 to 20 feet tall…..and the High Surf is expected to stick around until at least 9 p-m tonight. Beachgoers are warned to stay off of coastal jetties, keep an eye on pets, and never ever turn their backs to the ocean.
