The Grand Opening, and a Tour of, a new affordable senior housing development is slated to be held next week in Marina. The Junsay Oaks Senior Apartments are located on the 3000 block of De Forest Road, not far from the Marina post office and the Monterey-Salinas Transit station. There are 47 1-bedroom apartments, that have all been rented to low-income seniors, in the building….along with a community room, a computer room, and fitness room, as well as some community gardening beds.
