As of noon today, THE INFORMATION HOTLINE (408) 846-0584 IS NO LONGER MONITORED.

However, individuals in need of assistance can call the Family Assistance Center at (408) 209-8356.

Vehicle Recovery

Starting on Thursday, August 8, 2019, shuttles will no longer be provided to Christmas Hill Park to retrieve vehicles. Individuals who need to retrieve a vehicle can go to the Christmas Hill Park entrance located on Uvas Park Drive at Miller Avenue and speak with on-site security to coordinate vehicle retrieval.

Family Assistance Center and Reunification Center

The Family Assistance Center (FAC) is located at the City Facilities Complex located at 350 W. Sixth Street (6th) Street and will be open through Friday, August 9th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. The following services will be available: counselors (English and Spanish), assistance filing claims related to the incident, and the American Red Cross. For more information, call the Center at (408) 209-8356. Individuals will be directed from the FAC to the appropriate services and locations.

11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., daily through Friday, August 9, 2019

Drop-in Services for grief counseling, emotional support and victims Assistance information

In addition, drop-in emotional support and counseling services will be available for any person, regardless of attendance at the festival through Friday, August 9 from 4pm-8pm in Gilroy at Gilroy High School, 750 W Tenth (10th) Street and Brownell Middle School, 7800 Carmel Street.

Hours of Operation:

Tuesday, August 6th – Friday, August 9th, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Gilroy High School, 750 W. Tenth (10th) Street

Brownell Middle School, 7800 Carmel Street

Christmas Hill Park

There will be NO immediate public access to Christmas Hill Park (CHP). The City understands that the community is anxious to access CHP, however the park requires extensive rehabilitation and restoration before it can be made available to the community. The park may be open to the public within the next few weeks.
