A 28 year-old man, who was driving a vehicle that ran into police officers (as the man tried to flee those arresting officers last week), has pleaded not guilty to 3 charges that included assault with a deadly weapon. Cody franklin was out on bail at the time of the December 4th incident on the 100 block of Branciforte Drive. Franklin is next scheduled to appear in a Santa Cruz County Court Room January 3rd.
