Second Harvest Food Bank will launch its Holiday Food and Fund Drive with a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday.
Martina O’Sullivan and John Laird will co-chair this year’s drive, which aims to raise enough to provide 4.8 million meals.
The holiday drive is Second Harvest’s biggest and proceeds will go toward its network of 200 pantries, soup kitchens, recovery centers, assisted living homes and food and nutrition programs throughout the county.
Tickets are $20 per person or $160 for a table of eight people. The event, from 11:30 AM until 1PM on Thursday will be held at Twin Lakes Church, 2701 Cabrillo College Drive.
