Cal-Trans workers are doing brush removal, and erosion control, today and tomorrow as part of the Firesafe 17 Project. This week the work is being done on the southbound lanes of Highway 17, from idywild road to redwood estates. The brush removal and erosion control work is being done between 9 a-m and 3 p.m, weather permitting.
All Highway 17 exits are scheduled to remain open.
