Although no structures are threatened and no evacuations have been necessary, a Shelter-In-Place was ordered just after 5 p.m. today in the Mount Eden Road area. That was in connection with a blaze that is burning on the western edge of Saratoga, headed toward the area of the Mountain Winery. The vegetation fire caused some commuters to have a difficult time during this afternoon’s commute, because there were roads they could not travel on. The blaze was first called in shortly before 3:30 p.m.
