A Pair of F-15 Tomcat Fighter Jets were scrambled after a small plane strayed into a Presidential No-Fly Zone on Friday. North American Aerospace Defense Command sent the jets to examine a small plane, not responding to radio contact, that had entered in to the 30 mile No-Fly Zone cleared as a safety precaution for President Obama’s Bay Area visit. Once the pilot of the civilian craft became aware of the situation radio communications were established as 1 of the fighters escorted the plane over Capitola then up the coast to the Half Moon Bay Airport.
