A federal judge issued a ruling on the fate of the Ross homeless encampment Monday evening. After two days of negotiations stalled U.S. District Court Judge Edward Davila ruled to dissolve the temporary restraining order paving the way for the City of Santa Cruz to take action. The city is expected to post 72 hour evection notices (Tues) this morning. A clean up effort would then take place on Friday.
