(07:58) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Monterey County judge has delayed the jury trial for a man suspected of murder. 44-year-old Matthew Huntington has been accused of fatally stabbing his ex-girlfriend, 50-year-old Tara DeSousa, in Monterey in January 2015. Shortly after, Huntington was critically injured after either falling or jumping off a building near the scene of the crime. His injuries left him in a coma for several weeks. Huntington’s trial has been continued to May 2. A jury trial call has been scheduled for April 27. (S.G.)
