(16:35) KING CITY – A 1-year-old baby survived a fatal car crash that occurred near King City on Saturday night. The young boy was fastened in a carseat in the back of a Volkswagen Jetta when an oncoming driver in a Hyundai sedan drifted over the divider. The driver in the Jetta, 20-year-old Julio Castillo, took evasive action to avoid the Hyundai and was seriously wounded in the accident. In the Jetta’s passenger seat, a 24-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. The baby was taken to Natividad Medical Center as a precaution but no medical attention was necessary. The driver of the Hyundai sedan, Drew Trantow-Pearson, was arrested on suspicion of a DUI.
