(16:57) SALINAS – A man who led law enforcement officers on a short high-speed chase through Salinas yesterday has been arrested. 23 year-old Alberto Garcia Ramirez reportedly reached speeds of 100 miles per hour on city streets and about 120 miles per hour on Highway 101. The chase ended when the vehicle Ramirez was driving hit a street sign at the Market Street off-ramp. He was initially taken to Natividad Medical Center, and later booked into Monterey County Jail.
