(06:39) KING CITY – Two men have been arrested in connection with an attempted homicide in King City. Earlier last month, a 37-year-old man was shot at the intersection of South San Lorenzo Avenue and Bassett Street. He was treated at Mee Memorial Hospital for a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Following an investigation, police issued arrest warrants for two suspects, 22-year-old Jason Jesus Lizarraga and 18-year-old Mark Anthony Martinez. Lizarraga was apprehended on Friday after being stopped in Chico for a speeding violation. Meanwhile, Martinez was located and arrested at school at Portola Butler High. Both men have been booked into Monterey County Jail. (S.G.)
