(07:55) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – A Santa Cruz man has been found guilty of robbery and assault. In January 2013, 25-year-old Samuel Nault pistol whipped a man before taking items from him. The victim was able to escape. Nault opened fire on the man as he ran away. No one was injured. This week, Nault was convicted of robbery with personal discharge of a firearm as well as assault with intent to commit great bodily injury. He faces up to 26 years in prison when he sentenced March 3. (S.G.)
