Many seats for state offices were up for election on the March ballot.
According to the preliminary results…
Jimmy Panetta won 65-percent of the vote and retains his District 20 seat in congress.
As for District 17’s state senate seat, John Laird captured 42.3-percent of the vote.
Mark Stone retains his Member of the State Assembly District 29 seat.
The same goes for Robert Rivas of Hollister for the State Assembly District 30th seat.
