In election news… Multiple school-related bonds were on the ballot across the Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties. According to the preliminary results…

Measure M for the Aromas-San Juan Unified School District, requiring a 55-percent supermajority vote, is narrowly projected to receive the YES Vote. (55.07 avg.-percent 53.32/54.55/57.34 Y; 46.68/45.45/42.66 N)

Measure R for the Cabrillo Community College District, is on track to FALL SHORT OF the required supermajority, with 51-percent of the vote AGAINST the measure. (51.58 avg; 56.57/49.71/48.48 N)

Both measures have voting districts within the tri-county area, and these preliminary results are averaged between the respective counties.
