A woman was arrested in Santa County on Saturday, after she was allegedly abusing a duck. Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 7-hundred block of 41st Avenue, after witnesses reported seeing the woman throwing the duck on the ground, and trying to injure it. Deputies arrested the suspect on public intoxication charges. the incident is under investigation. The duck was not seriously injured.
