Digital license plates are coming to California. The state Department of Motor Vehicle is partnering with Reviver Auto, a digital license plate manufacturer, to market them. The plates will be sold at auto dealerships and won’t be available through the DMV. They’re expected to sell for $699 with a monthly fee of $7. The state would be the first in the nation to use digital plates.
