(07:07) SANTA CRUZ – A man was arrested in Santa Cruz Thursday on multiple charges, including loitering on a school campus and battering a peace officer. On Wednesday, parents and staff at Brook Knoll Elementary advised deputies about a suspicious person on campus. 26-year-old Jack Gattoni was seen looking into cars and contacting parents dropping off their children. Gattoni eventually left the campus after punching a number of vehicles in the parking lot. Deputies located the suspect Thursday. He was uncooperative and fought with a sergeant. Gattoni was eventually detained and found in possession of stolen property. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
