(09:30) California – The state of California will enforce new laws for 2017. Some of those new laws include: Motorists can only use devices that are mounted or voice operated and hands-free. Minimum wage will increase from 10 dollars an hour to 10.50 for businesses with 26 or more employees. And Children younger than 2 must be in rear-facing child restraint systems unless they weigh 40 or more pounds or are 40 or more inches tall.
