(08:55) Santa Cruz – The 2013 dog bite lawsuit has been settled. A 5 year-old boy was on Rio Del Mar State Beach when he was bit on the head by 50-pound boxer-Australian mix. The dog was reportedly being fostered by Yolanda Rosebraugh. The dog was not on a leash during the incident. The boy suffered from bruising and puncturing wounds that took year to heal. The lawsuit was settled for 75-thousand dollars and was covered by insurance through the Special District Risk Management Agency.
