(10:40) Santa Cruz County – Road construction is slated to begin on Highway 129 in January. Caltrans will be closing Highway 129 from the Pajaro River Bridge, west for half mile, near the Santa Cruz/San Benito county line/railroad crossing. The curve realignment project will take clatrans a full five days to complete starting on Monday, January 9th at 5 a.m. through Saturday, January 14th by 5 a.m. Motorists are advised to take an alternate route.
