(18:37 SANTA CRUZ- Local veterans will be honored with a free Holiday Dinner next Wednesday. The event is being organized by Operation Love Our Vets, and is open to all local veterans. The event will feature a buffet-style dinner, music and giveaways, including toys for veterans’ children. Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Santa Cruz County Veteran’s Memorial Building, 846 Front Street. The menu includes smoked brisket, mashed potatoes, salad, pie and more. The Dolly Rappaport Band featuring Garth Webber will provide the evening’s entertainment.
