(07:06) CENTRAL COAST – Theaters across the Central Coast are tightening security measures as they prepare to show “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”. In the wake of high-profile mass shootings in recent years, theater officials are urging fans to leave their lightsabers, masks, and props at home. Attendees are also being asked to not wear face paint. These security policies will be in place at many local theaters including Regal Cinemas locations and CineLux locations. The film is debuting Thursday night at select theaters. (S.G.)
