(07:36) APTOS – A number of vehicle thefts have recently been reported in the Aptos area. Officials say numerous cars were stolen from parking lots at Cabrillo College and the Deer Park Shopping Center last week. The Sheriff’s Office is reminding the public to make sure their vehicles are locked and that items of value are stored out of eye sight. Anyone who sees suspicious or unusual activity is urged to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. (S.G.)
