(16:55) MONTEREY- The National Weather Service has issued a high surf warning. The warning is for the Big Sur coastline and the entire Monterey bay and went into effect at 4 p.m. Thursday and continues to 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Wave size will peak Thursday night reaching 18 to 22 feet in height and gradually decreasing to 15 to 17 feet Saturday morning. A Coastal flooding advisory is also in effect for parking lots and other low lying beach front areas until 8 p.m. Friday.
