Costing some $90 billion a year in lost productivity. This according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. The article contends there are ways of combating low back pain without surgery. Listing the causes of low back pain as weight gain and obesity, sitting for long hours with bad posture, sagging mattresses, high heels and heavy purses or backpacks.
