Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing his belief that health challenges are usually the result of nutritional deficiencies. Contending that although he has been citing this concept for over 40 years the main stream medical community is still missing the point. He asserts that people need to become their own health advocate and educate themselves about health.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss two news articles regarding health. The first story is concerning a 16 year old who was told she had a urinary infection and that she was pregnant. Turns out she actually had a brain infection and almost died as a result of the misdiagnosis. Next they discuss a report that found their is a lot of miscommunication between doctors and patients.
