Central Coast businessman and concert promoter David Drew received a nice surprise from Governor Jerry Brown earlier this week. Drew was pardoned for drug convictions in the last 1980’s and early 1990’s.
In issuing the pardon, Governor Brown wrote that Drew has “lived an honest and upright life, exhibited good moral character, and conducted himself as a law-abiding citizen.”
Drew’s pardon was one of 143 pardons and 131 commutations Brown issued on Monday,
