2 D.U.I. accidents, that took place early this morning in Santa Cruz, are still being investigated. The first occurred just before 1 a.m., when a van hit a power pole hard enough to sheer the pylon at the base of the pole. The second took place a short time later…when the driver of a sedan mistakenly drove the car onto the East Cliff Trestle, and then hit a pillar while trying to back the car off the trestle. Neither man was seriously hurt, and both were arrested on charges of D.U.I.
