California State University said Tuesday that it will move many Fall 2020 semester classes online as part of the school system’s COVID-19 precautions.
CSU Chancellor Timothy White said in a statement that there will be some exceptions for “in-person teaching, learning and research activities that cannot be delivered virtually.”
In addition, CSU is cancelling sports for the fall semester.
White said the planning is based on the potential for a second wave of coronavirus that would disrupt any fall classes that were meeting in person.
