COUNTY CURBSIDE COLLECTIONS HAVE RESUMED; REFRIGERATOR PICK-UP REQUIRES FOOD BAGGED SEPARATELY
The County of Santa Cruz has resumed its GreenWaste curbside trash, recycling and bulky item collections for all areas that are not current evacuation zones.
Bulky items including refrigerators need to be scheduled for pick-up by calling customer service at (831) 426-2711. Food must be removed from fridges and either placed inside trash cart or placed in a bag, not to exceed 60 lb., as an extra item next to cart for curbside collection. Refrigerators containing spoiled food will not be accepted.
All customers disposing of spoiled food may bag this separately, not to exceed 60 lb., and set it out for pick up with their trash cart at no additional charge.
