The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, and a High Surf Advisory, for much of Friday. that’s in part because of the convergence of a high tide, and beaches still being in their “summer sand profiles”. Strong riptides are expected, as are 14-16 foot swells (every 16-18 seconds). the advisory has been issued for the time period between 3 a-m and 9 p-m Friday.
