Classes at North Monterey County High School are cancelled today following threats to student safety. The school was locked down and evacuated Thursday and Friday after faculty received two separate emails that threatened a mass shooting and claimed there were bombs on school grounds. No explosives or weapons have been found on campus. Officials believe the threats are a hoax, but have cancelled classes as a precautionary measure. An investigation looking into the threats is underway.
