Cisco systems has announced a layoff of approximately 500 workers. While Cisco representatives state they are assisting with finding internal jobs for those affected, this is the second round of layoffs at Cisco within the past year. On Wall Street, Cisco stock dropped by approximately 3-percent following the announcement.
