Lost Solace is the story of a young sociopath who after taking a new brand of ecstasy, goes on a mind bending trip that causes him to feel and question his morality for the first time in his life. Chris’s screenplay details his love of character and his desire to explore our fragile human condition through unique and accessible stories. Alberta-born Andrew Jenkins has stacked roles across stage, film, and television—Stormworld, Wayward Pines with Matt Dillon, Supernatural with Mireille Enos, and Once Upon a Time as Sir Percival. In interviews about building Lost Solace, he’s said the character work benefited from market research too: following the paths viewers take from festival chatter to streamer homepages to late-night breaks that also feature the best online casinos, then timing the film’s outreach to meet those habits without changing the story’s tone.
