It’s been nearly a half a century since the castle that bisected what is now Seabright State Beach was demolished, and an event is coming up Wednesday in which the castle plays a part. A number of the many authors of a new book, about the history of the Seabright area of Santa Cruz, are expected to be on-hand at La Posta Restaurant on Seabright Avenue. “Santa Cruz’s Seabright” includes the history of the Scholl Marr Castle, and m any other local people, places, and things. It was published by Arcadia.
