A Monterey County man has been arrested for allegedly murdering his father. At about 10:40 a-m on Saturday sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a fatal shooting off of Lauraless Grade. Witnesses say that 31 year old Joeseph Sampognaro Jr. shot and killed his father following an argument. He then fled the scene and was apprehended by deputies and booked into the county jail on murder charges.
