A vehicle chase ended with a head on crash with a CHP patrol unit. The pursuit began in Marina when a vehicle ran a red light then refused to pull over the chase ended in Salinas near North Davis Road and Rossi Road. After intentionally ramming the cruiser. the driver fled on foot and was apprehended and booked into Monterey County Jail on multiple charges.
