(14:26) SANTA CRUZ- The County of Santa Cruz is encouraging residents to provide input on issues associated with cannabis production. Recently, the County issued a formal Notice of Participation to initiate an Environmental Impact Review of a proposed ordinance to regulate cannabis cultivation in a manner consistent with State law and the health, safety and welfare of the community. Community members may review or comment on the proposal at : sccoplanning.com. A public meeting is planned for today (Monday) to discuss the upcoming EIR and take feedback. The meeting will be held at Simpkins Family Swim Center, 979 17th Ave., Santa Cruz, from 4:30 p.m. to7 p.m.
