The California Highway Patrol is reporting holiday arrests are up from last year. The agency repoted 621 arrests were made during the holiday weekend last year. This year917 drivers were arrested for DUI. The number of people killed in accidents is down this year with 27 people killed compared with 36 people last year. 6 of the fatalities were not wearing seat belts.
