19:02 SOLEDAD- Cal Fire responded to a South Monterey County controlled burn that escaped cross containment lines yesterday morning. At about 11:30 A-M Fire crews responded to the brush fire after it got out of control. Over 50 firefighters brought the blaze near Foothill and Fort Romie Roads back under control before 1:00 P-M. No structures were damaged.
