California-American water has gotten a 90-day extension. That means that the California Coastal Commission can continue to consider what to do with the Cal-Am’s ‘desalination project permit application’. In requesting the extension, cal am bypassed a January 28th Commission staff recommendation that the company withdraw and re-submit its application to allow more time for additional analysis.
