Burn Permits have been suspended in Cal-Fire responsibility areas in San Benito and Monterey counties. That’s because the 2019 Fire Season officially began yesterday. The ban also includes ALL residential outdoor burning of landscape debris. People are encouraged to maintain 100 feet of Defensible Space around their homes and to go on-line for:

Campfires are allowed, however, they need to be in designated campgrounds, or in established facilities on private property (with the permission of the landowner….AND the local jurisdictional authority).
