(17:50) Santa Cruz- The suspension of burn permits that began last Friday by CAL FIRE was lifted earlier today with the end of the high wind conditions experienced over the weekend. The suspension effected outdoor burning within the State Responsibility Area and in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Cruz counties. CAL FIRE would like to remind the public that even with the ending of the suspension, fire conditions are still elevated over normal winter time conditions.
