Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a burglary suspect Monday morning. Deputies responded to Soquel-San Jose Road after a man reorted a burglar in his house. The resident walked into the kitchen to find a man wearing black gloves, walking around. As the suspect took off, the victim snapped a photo of the man and his vehicle and called 911. Deputies spotted the suspect vehicle in the Hilltop Road neighborhood. They stopped the vehicle and arrested 39-year-old Samuel Beltran for burglary, outstanding warrants, and a probation violation.
