The body of a woman was found last night inside of a man’s apartment in Santa Cruz. Police responded to the 1100 block of East Cliff Drive to a report of neighbors complaining about a strong odor coming from the man’s home. Police arrived and were told by the tenant that the smell was coming from old food. Police searched the man’s residence and found the woman on the man’s bed. Police, meanwhile are investigating the incident as a suspicious death.
