A spokesman for the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk said the re-opening of some of their rides over the weekend (for Santa Cruz county residents only) went pretty smoothly. That means that for now they will continue with in-county residents making reservations for a 2-hour block of time on Saturdays and Sundays. People can pick either the noon to 2 time slot, or the 3 to 5 timeslot. Admission is 25 dollars for regular guests and free for Season Pass holders. Reservations can only be made for the coming weekend, not multiple weekends in advance, and there is a 3-step verification process to prove county residency. Santa Cruz county residents having difficulty proving their home address are encouraged to call and speak with a Guest Services Representative.
