A bill introduced this week in Sacramento would mandate a review of all homelessness programs in California. The goal of Assembly Bill 2329 is to determine whether current programs are effective and what else needs to be done.
If the bill passes, the Homeless Coordinating and Financing Council must file its report to the legislature by July 31, 2021. The agency was created in 2017 to oversee California’s efforts to fight homelessness.
